General Manager reports to the Director of Operations. The General Manager controls and coordinates the work and progress of subordinate managers through weekly staff meetings, review of daily operating statements, daily sales reports and related documents and through direct observation of performance. He/She continually strives to improve his/her own decision making capabilities as well as helping his/her management staff progress with theirs. In line with this, he/she encourages common sense management from his/her staff to satisfy his/her unit's customers on a day-to-day basis.

Special Instructions:
General Manager is primarily responsible for building volume, customer count levels and unit profitability and to this end is further responsible for ensuring well planned and coordinated programs of unit sales and operating cost control. The General Manager, throuh his/her supervision of subordinate activities, ensures proper unit staffing, sufficient station training and cross training for unit hourly employees thus resulting in a clean and pleasant work atmosphere.
