Qualifications:
|
This position reports to the Personnel Manager. The Assistant Manager initially functions as a "Manager in Training" working through the basic entry level POD Training Program conducted by a Field Training Manager in a training unit. The successful completion of this basic training provides the "Manager in Training" with technical unit operations and effective customer relations techniques, and a solid basis for the position of Assistant Manager.

The Assistant Manager supervises in-unit maintenance personnel and unit hourly personnel working the various line stations (assembling, potato, order, etc.) as either assistant to a superior or as "Manager in Charge". Through direct observation of employee performance, the Assistant Manager ensures that established food and customer service standards are maintained.
