Description:
The Kitchen attendant is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes and utensils and for maintaining the kitchen area in a clean and safe condition.
Essential Tasks:
A. Unloads dirty dishes from buspans and places on dishracks.
B. Operates Dishmachine safely to clean and sanitize dishes and utensils.
C. Follows proper procedures for washing cutlery.
D. Checks all dishes for cleanliness.
E. Sorts, Stacks, and stores clean dishes, utensils and cutlery.
F. Handles chemical products strictly according to procedures.
G. Will assist Dining room bussing whenever required.
H. Follows all safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
I. Keeps kitchen area clean and organized, including counters, equipment, shelving, sinks, walls and floors.
J. Follows procedures and direction from Key Trainers, shift supervisors and management.
